You have spent the
unit investigating the negative effects of injustice. The sad truth is that many injustices are occurring daily all over the world and innocent people are being harmed, and even killed every day.
You can do something!
What current real-world injustice is occurring that needs to be stopped?
You should identify a social injustice of interest to you. The more passionate you are about an issue, the more you will enjoy this project, and the more you will benefit from it! Consider the issue exposed in your independent reading book.
You must identify your

You must determine a focused
for your letter – that is, determine how you will use your voice to advocate for a group of oppressed, discriminated, or overlooked people in jeopardy of harm or even death. In your letter, you will be a voice for the voiceless.
NOTE: Advocacy involves moving a person with power to act on behalf of the less fortunate or
mistreated, so consider what you want your audience to do after reading your letter.
